FairyBill (“we”, “the app”) helps households organize bills recognized from email. This policy describes what the app does on your device and what we do not do.

Summary

Information the app processes

When you connect Gmail, the app may process:

Where data is stored

All of the above stays in the app’s local encrypted storage on your phone and is not included in iCloud or computer backups. Disconnecting a mailbox or deleting the app removes that data from the device. Gmail sign-in tokens are kept in the iOS Keychain on this device only; disconnecting revokes them, and if you delete the app instead, you can remove FairyBill’s access in your Google Account (a later reinstall also revokes any token left behind).

How we use Gmail data

Use is limited to:

  1. Searching and reading messages that appear to be bills or e-Transfer notifications (when enabled).
  2. Extracting bill fields to show summaries and trends in the app.

We do not use Gmail data to train general AI models, for ads, or for unrelated products.

Sharing

We do not share Gmail or bill data with third parties except:

Your choices

Children

FairyBill is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change; continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
